Cloud9 scared fans with a disband of their Dota 2 roster: fans deciphered the code

Cloud9 published a puzzle that many interpreted as an announcement of a new roster and a complete disband of the roster that competed at The International 2024.

The corresponding cipher was posted on the club’s official Telegram channel.

The message did not contain any names, but it listed positions with attached country flags. Initially, fans speculated about who might join the roster, with some even considering Artour "Arteezy" Babaev.

However, users eventually realized that this was neither an announcement of a new roster nor a hint at a disband, but a cipher referencing Cloud9 old roster from 2017. It was possibly a response to rumors about a full disband of the roster after TI13.
