Clothing skins may appear in CS2 — Thour

New cosmetic elements related to character clothing may be added to CS2. This was noticed by dataminer Thour after the release of another update.

The dataminer shared a screenshot with the finding on his page in X

According to him new strings related to the clothing system appeared again in the game files, including mentions of new parameters and elements. At the same time Valve didnt make any official announcements about this.

In addition along with this update developers added new strings related to improvements of Trust Factor and matchmaking. Changes in the player movement analysis system were also spotted, which may be aimed at fighting cheaters.

Thour also noted that similar clothing related strings already appeared before, which may indicate a gradual preparation for adding new cosmetic items.

For now it is unknown if full clothing skins will actually appear in the game, however such findings may hint at expansion of customization system in CS2 in future updates.
