Chopper revealed who stands to gain from replacing the Train map with Anubis in the CS2 map pool

Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov believes that replacing the Train map with Anubis in the Counter-Strike 2 map pool will benefit tier 1.5/2 teams.

The former Team Spirit captain shared this opinion on Telegram.

"The guys played the map for a year so that it would be removed... Anubis is a so-so decision, but a plus for Tier 1.5/2 teams."

Nevertheles, the player noted that this decision by the developers was very controversial, pointing out that players had put a lot of effort into training on the Train map, and its removal from the map pool renders their eforts futile.

Today, Valve made the Train map unavailable for competitive play, replacing it with Anubis.
