Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov believes that
Team Spirit’s roster will be able to compete more effectively against Vitality if Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin joins the team.
The player shared this opinion on YouTube.
– Let’s imagine that Kyousuke is somehow bought back. There’s a bit of a role conflict—we need to divide the map somehow. And we have a trio: Sh1ro, Donk, and Kyousuke. Let’s take this prime trio and compare it to Vitality’s—Flamez, Ropz, and Zywoo. If we compare them in terms of prime form, synergy, and chemistry, can we use the trio of Shiro, Donk, and Kyousuke without compromising the lineup?
– I’m sure we can, 100%. It’s just that the other two players will have to adjust their roles, be patient, and do the grunt work. I think the perfect example is NAVI’s lineup, where players spread out the default play more broadly—not just into one zone—and that’s what you’re used to seeing when you have a single entry-frager structure. Vitality has a clear structure—one entry-frager from whom the zones are played out—but if you look at NAVI, their players can mix it up.
If you compare them in terms of strength, Sh1ro, Donk, and Kyousuke could very well be stronger than the trio of Flamez, Ropz, and Zywoo, and they might even be stronger than them. The key is for the supports to hold their own, while the trio is stronger.
Acording to a statement by Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov, the trio of Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin, and Dmitry “Sh1ro” Sokolov will be able to play efectively without stifling the potential of any one player. Moreover, in this format, the team could compete more effectively against Vitality, who use a similar roster structure.
It is worth noting that Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin previously played for
Team Spirit’s academy but transferred to
Team Falcons in June of last year.
As a reminder, Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov also gave a direct answer regarding whether he plans to return to the CS2 pro scene as a player or a coach.
