Chalice explains why Azure Ray picked Alchemist so often

Yang «Chalice» Shenyi, Azure Ray player, talked about why his team preferred to pick Alchemist at Bali Major 2023.

Chalice said the reason they pick alchemist is becuz when LaNm is coaching XG they always lose lanes at Berlin Major unless they picked alchemist. And during the third DPC tour alchemist line up is still good at laning phase, so they thought that hero is good at laning, so they always pick him up whenever they don’t know what to pick.
But Chalice thinks alchemist is bad at laning and medusa is a much better choice, but his teammates don’t think that way. That even make him thought it’s his own problem to think that way at some point.
The thing is, Alchemist was really good in the last patch and at DPC in China. Therefore, the team's coach, Zhang «LaNm» Zhicheng, preferred to choose an already proven hero.
