Ceb talked about a unique feature of Pure

Sebastien “Ceb” Debs, former OG captain, stated that Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko has a unique playstyle, which stands out due to its aggressiveness and provocativeness compared to other players.

“Pure has been one of the best for some time. He performed poorly at The International 2025, but I don’t think that was really his fault. For a carry, he plays in an unconventional way. His style is very provocative. Pure forces opponents to make mistakes by applying pressure. You can see it in his early-game moves, and how he goes for the Ancient down the mid lane after farming the enemy Divine Rapier”

Ceb noted that Pure’s style is reminiscent of Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov’s gameplay, and considers him one of the best carries on the Dota 2 pro scene.

“Honestly, it really reminds me of Dyrachyo’s style when Gaimin Gladiators were so aggressive and decisive in their actions. I think Pure is more farm-oriented than Dyrachyo. He is more cautious, but very determined. Once Pure decides to finish the game or join a fight, he does it. This forces strong opponents, like Falcons, to make critical mistakes. In the end, it brings Pure the victory”

However, he emphasized that Pure is still more focused on farming than Dyrachyo and is more careful on the map. At the same time, Ceb highlighted that Pure possesses decisiveness and consistency in his actions, which provoke opponents into mistakes.
