Sebastian 'Ceb' Debs, captain of
OG, admitted that he had to sacrifice time with loved ones and friends to achieve success as a Dota 2 esports player.
He shared this during an interview with GosuGamers, published on YouTube.
"Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice much more than people think. But I believe that as long as you choose it yourself, everything is fine"
According to the esports player, he had to balance between family and Dota 2 training. He believed that if he spent more time with loved ones, his opponents would have an advantage because they would be practicing at that time.
He emphasized that it wasn't easy for him, and he had to suppress feelings of guilt to achieve success in esports. His sacrifices indeed paid off, and in 2018, he became a world champion with
OG, when his team won The International 2018.
Recall that Ceb teased Topson when his team successfully defeated
Tundra Esports in the qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024.
