Captain of Team Spirit explained why they lost to BetBoom Team.

Nikita “panto” Balaganin, captain of Team Spirit, said that the reason for the loss to BetBoom Team in the playoffs was Largo, as well as a mistake around Roshan.

The comment was published in the club’s Telegram channel.

“Just finished our series with BetBoom Team. Unfortunately we lost 1:2. On the first map we tried to counter Largo — it didn’t work, he basically danced around us. In the second game the drafts were more fair and we just played Dota. The start was equal but then we found some kills and started to stomp, so the game became quite simple.

In the third game I think it was pretty even for some time. Our safe lane was going well, while they were strong around mid. We threw the game at Roshan when we didn’t finish our items, tried to defend it and unfortunately fed them. Because of that the series ended in a loss, tomorrow we will try to bounce back”

According to him, on the first map the team was let down by the draft, since they tried to counter Largo but failed. Panto noted that on the second map they managed to equalize the series, but on the third map the players started to feed.

The captain also подчеркнул that the game turned after the Roshan fight, when the advantage moved to BetBoom Team, which eventually led to the defeat of his squad. As a result, Team Spirit dropped to the lower bracket of the tournament but still has a chance to fight for the championship title.
