The new midlaner for
Tundra Esports, Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov, discussed the impact of Sebastian "Ceb" Debs on the performance of the
OG team and relayed his views on the possible conflict in his old team.
Dota2.ru had the privilege to conduct the interview with him.
"We had Ceb back in the day. There were times when it was a welcomed addition, but there were also instances when it was the complete opposite. It was all dependent on who was paying attention to him. If the audience paid attention to him, there was no issue. However, if a single player chose not to heed him, things would go downhill. Therefore, at times we appeared well, and at times we did not"
Bzm confessed that Ceb's strong but inefficient leadership style inhibited
OG performance. He says that the players had to execute his game plan, then the team was in shape, but whenever someone took the liberty of switching up the game plan, the whole structure fell apart. But he also pointed fingers saying that there are times when even with Ceb,
OG performed poorly.
"Currently, they are competing alongside Ceb and winning, although I believe it to be coincidental," For his portion, he continued, "I had the chance to observe their games, but they did not appear particularly impressive. Things have gotten even worse without Ceb. It seems highly probable that there are problems among the players on the team. Something isn’t right and, as you said, constant swapping of players does not benefit the team or anyone else either"
He even suggested that it is now possible that there are problems within
OG as a result of frequent changes in players. In his opinion, constant changing will only harm the spirits of the team members and have repercussions on the team results.
Just to elaborate
OG already did state that there will be a new roster, which means that Ceb is not in the new one and that CodeX will take his place in the tournament.
