Samuel “Boxi” Svahn, support player of
Team Liquid, said he is really impressed by
Team Spirit’s current form at DreamLeague Season 29, especially by the performances of Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and newcomer Aleksei “not me” Kosmynin.
He talked about it in a post-match interview.
“The current meta fits them really well. Yatoro is in his best form right now — 4 plus 1, he farms for 30 minutes, then they comeback. The new guy played really good against us too, showed a strong Rubick. It kinda feels like they outplay you in some way. They outplay us and the other teams in mid game and later stages.
It’s weird, they always manage to comeback. If games ended at 20 minutes because of push drafts, maybe they would be 0:10. But it’s hard to say, they play really good... and not only because of the meta. They are very good at recovering from these situations.”
Boxi admitted that
Team Spirit managed to outplay
Team Liquid, and also said he was surprised by their playstyle. According to him, early pushing is not really their strategy. Instead, the support player believes the two-time TI champions are extremely strong in late-game comebacks.
He also praised not me’s performance, saying the newcomer already fits well into the Dota 2 roster and currently shows strong individual form together with Yatoro.
