Samuel “Boxi” Swan said that despite having experience playing with Marcus ‘Ace’ Hoelgaard and Eric “tOfu” Engel, the updated
Team Liquid Dota 2 roster is still in its early stages of development as the members are just developing a common approach to solving team situations.
The player shared this opinion in an interview with BLAST.
“We've practiced a bit before, so this isn't our first time playing together, but it's still early days. The dynamics have certainly changed, and we're just figuring out how to best communicate and approach different situations.”
According to Samuel “Boxi” Swan, the team is trying to adapt Marcus ‘Ace’ Hoelgaard's gameplay to a safer and more stable style, while Erik “tOfu” Engel has taken over drafting duties. The esports player believes that even though the team has remained the same, a lot has changed within it.
“For example, today with Ace, we focused on safe, stable play rather than maximum efficiency. Now tOfu is in charge of drafting — that's a big change. Basically, the team is the same, but a lot has changed, and we're just adapting as we go.”
Earlier, Marcus “Ace” Helgard talked about what problem he plans to solve for
Team Liquid.
