BLAST Slam VI organizers announce a unique for the pro scene playoff format

All playoff matches of the upcoming BLAST Slam VI Dota 2 tournament will be played in a BO5 format.

The tournament schedule has been anounced on the official BLAST website.

This format is unusual for modern Dota 2 tournaments, where only the grand finals are played in BO5, while the rest of the playoff matches are played in BO3.

The BLAST Slam VI Dota 2 tournament is scheduled for February next year. Twelve teams will participate in the event, competing for $1 million. The final stage of the championship will be held in LAN format.
