Gleb “cenra” Antokhin, the operations director of
BetBoom Team, felt sorry for Gleb “Kiyotaka” Zyryanov but thinks the rest of the team was right in their decision of getting rid of him.
He said that on his Twitch stream.
"I will be the first to tell you that watching Gleb leave wasn’t exactly pleasant for me, but, as with any other industry, esports is cutthroat and we aren't building a family. Winning tournaments is the objective here. There are a lot of things that I would love to judge this decision on, but on a personal level, Gleb deserves more sympathy than he is currently given"
Cenra mentioned that while he agrees with the decision made by the team, he still thinks Kiyotaka, with all of his potential, is likely to be snapped up by a team quickly.
“Is Kiyotaka going to find a team? Yes, he has massive amounts of untapped potential. It would be amazing if he can get on the right team. Gleb in CIS Reject would have really benefitted from having someone similar to Sergey G around. Gleb’s a good man and has a lot of potential”
He also mentioned that Kiyotaka could succeed with proper support in the form of a dependable partner or mentor. Cenra stressed that this former pro should be able to reach his potential when placed in the correct environment.
Earlier,
BetBoom Team has mentioned about
Gaimin Gladiators losing their captain was the beginning of their demise.
