BetBoom Team support player Vitaliy "Save-" Melnik believes that BetBoom Team could have been the champions of the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Dota 2 championship if the team had defeated Team Liquid in the lower bracket.

The corresponding statement was made by the esports athlete in a post-match interview during the live broadcast of the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 championship on Twitch.

"I think if we had reached the grand final, we would have had good chances of winning. The match against Team Falcons in the upper bracket was also quite close. Throughout the tournament, we definitely improved. At the beginning, we didn't play very well. You could even say quite poorly. But now we were 100% playing better. MieRo is a great guy, we meshed well with him in the game."

Vitaliy "Save-" Melnik also acknowledged that the team faced challenges during the tournament. The team had to adapt to opponents' playstyles and learn new heroes on the fly during the tournament. Save- noted that sometimes the team had to take risks and adjust to opponents during the game.

BetBoom Team performed excellently in the first two playoff matches, defeating LGD Gaming and Gaimin Gladiators. The lineup secured third place in the overall standings of the championship, behind Team Falcons and Team Liquid.
