Anatoly “Boolk” Ivanov believes that it would be a good idea to allow Dota 2 teams to sign up to 8 players to their roster with the option of substituting them during tournaments.
The
BetBoom Team coach shared this opinion on YouTube.
“Having a roster of eight players with the option to substitute players is a cool idea.”
According to Anatoly “Boolk” Ivanov, giving pro teams this option could make tournaments more exciting. The
BetBoom Team coach believes that this approach could diversify the pool of heroes and strategies used by teams, but if such innovations were implemented, teams would have to train more.
“It would be effective, it would add more excitement to tournaments if all teams had this option. It would greatly affect the pool, the preparation of teams for each other, as well as the ability of teams to surprise with something, to flex their strategies in some way. You'll just have to train more.”
As a reminder, Danil “gpk~” Skutin previously announced his possible departure from
BetBoom Team after The International 2025.
