Vitaly “Save-” Melnik stated that after defeating Gaimin Gladiators in the PGL Wallachia Season 5 grand final, the team broke the curse of this tournament series.

"We broke the curse of this tournament. Last time we lost to Team Tidebound, they knocked us out. NothingToSay knocked us out of both PGL Wallachia tournaments we played in: G2 x iG and Team Tidebound. In addition, we defeated Team Spirit in Romania, but in the first season we lost to them as well. Then we killed Team Liquid in the lower bracket. I am proud of my team that we were able to win from the lower bracket. Because usually we throw the third map there. Now everything is different — we won."

According to the BetBoom Team captain, his team had previously left the PGL Wallachia tournaments after losing to Chen “NothingToSay” Jing's teams, G2 x iG, and Team Tidebound. Vitaly “Save-” Melnik also noted that BetBoom Team was able to successfully defeat Team Spirit, to whom the team had lost badly in the first season. Moreover, Vitaly “Save-” Melnik's team managed to defeat Team Liquid, against whom his teammates had always lost the third map.
