Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk, captain of
BetBoom Team, played with a fractured finger at BLAST Slam 3, as doctors misdiagnosed him at the previous tournament.
The cyber athlete revealed in the club's new YouTube vlog.
“Living, drinking ibuprofen, waiting for the swelling to go down. You have to get checked in several places in life. There's no point in getting checked by one type, especially in Serbia. The story is this: I have a piece of bone lying here, as the doctor in Denmark said, and it's a fracture. In Serbia they told me it was a contusion. I walked around with a broken finger for a month”
Save noted that because of the misdiagnosis, he actually spent the entire month before the tournament with a serious injury. It wasn't until he was re-examined in Denmark that he learned he had a fracture. According to him, now he has to drink ibuprofen and undergo treatment.
Recall that earlier the captain of
Team Spirit spoke frankly about the team's departure from BLAST Slam 3.
