Dota 2 Patch 7.37 best heroes

Valve released patch 7.37 for Dota 2, which drastically changed many innate abilities and aspects of heroes, significantly impacting the game.

Hero win rates in Dota 2 matchmaking have changed considerably, so to easily climb MMR, it’s crucial to pay close attention to your picks and choose the right hero from the new meta.

Top Carry Heroes in Patch 7.37:

Dota 2 Carry

  • Wraith King: Previously a decent carry, Wraith King no longer needs Aghanim's Scepter for faster respawn, allowing him to maintain and slightly increase his win rate to 54%.

  • Medusa: Medusa underwent significant changes, including a new ability that aids in defense or early fight participation. Mana Shield was also buffed: it now absorbs more damage per unit of mana, starting at 2.4 and increasing with levels.

Top Mid Heroes in Patch 7.37:

Dota 2 heroes

  • Queen of Pain: A key change was moving the talent for increased attack speed on targets affected by Shadow Strike to level 10, which greatly enhanced her snowball potential. Her lifesteal was also improved due to her innate ability.

  • Viper: Viper has begun dealing more damage based on the missing health of targets. This, combined with other changes, has made him more dangerous both in mid and on the offlane.

Top Offlaners in Patch 7.37:

Dota 2 Heroes

  • Underlord: Underlord’s new innate skill now buffs all allies after teleportation, reducing damage and increasing movement speed. Although this compensates for some of the hero's nerfs, his win rate has slightly declined, yet he remains one of the best offlaners.

  • Razor: In patch 7.37, Razor’s innate skill Thunderhead received significant buffs. Combined with enhancements to his ultimate, his passive Storm Surge now retaliates with a 36% chance of lightning damage with a 0.5-second cooldown whenever attacked by enemies.

Top Supports in Patch 7.37:

Dota 2 heroes

  • Warlock: Warlock has become slightly stronger due to improvements to Shadow Word at higher levels and changes to the talent selection at level 15. He is now among the top heroes in terms of performance in matches.

  • Shadow Shaman: The Massive Serpent Ward ability has become more durable, and Aghanim's Shard has been partially reverted. Shadow Shaman now gains access to disabling abilities and aspects at level 15 instead of 20.

Previously, the worst hero in Dota 2 after the release of patch 7.37 was identified, having lost a significant portion of their win rate in the new meta.
