Azure Ray officially announced changes to their Dota 2 roster
Azure Ray's Dota 2 roster has been replaced by offplayer Zhang Bach (Faith_bian) Zhuida, who was replaced by Li niu Kongbo.
The corresponding announcement was published on the official Azure Ray in X.
“After multiple communications and consultations, and on the premise of fully respecting the personal wishes of the players, we have made the following important adjustments from today:
1. Bach (Zhang Ruida), the original AR pos 3 player, has left the team;
2. Niu (Li Kongbo) has joined AR as a free agent and serves as the pos 3 player.
Here, we sincerely thank Bach for his hard work and outstanding contributions during his time in the team. Every step of your footprint is deeply engraved in our hearts. I believe that parting is for a better encounter. May you continue to shine in your future career path! At the same time, we warmly welcome the new member Niu to join. As a well-known domestic player, Niu has played for many well-known clubs and achieved an impressive third place in TI12. I believe that his joining will inject new vitality and strength into the team.”

Azure Ray's best result this year was a third place finish at the Elite League Season 1 tournament. The team failed to qualify for the biggest championships of the year like Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024. However, there are rumors in the gaming community that the team will become a regional leader after the possible disbandment of 
Xtreme Gaming.
