Aurora directly said whether they will kick Mikoto after winning the tournament

Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko stated that Aurora are not planning to kick Rafli “Mikoto” Fatur after winning FISSURE Universe: Episode 8 with stand-in Artem “Lorenof” Melnikolm, but he is not fully sure that roster changes will not happen.

The team captain said this in a post-match interview.

“We didn’t talk about playing further with Lorenof. I don’t know what will happen next but it’s not like we won a tournament and kicked a main roster player”

According to him, the team has not discussed future cooperation with Lorenof yet, so there are no plans to remove Mikoto at the moment. He also said that he cannot guarantee the roster will stay exactly the same after FISSURE Universe: Episode 8, but for now the club is not planning to change their mid laner.

It is worth noting that a replacement is still possible, considering Mikoto’s visa issues, the language barrier, and overall synergy with the players. Mikoto himself has not yet commented on the team’s big success at the tournament.

It should also be noted that this became the club’s first ever victory at a Dota 2 tournament, and it happened against such a strong opponent as Team Spirit.
