Aurora revealed huge amounts that CS2 teams earn from stickers

Valeriy “L3rich” Kharitonov said that teams can earn around $400 thousand from sticker sales during a Major in Counter-Strike 2.

The founder of Aurora spoke about this during a podcast on Twitch.

“Teams from the third Major capsule receive $400 thousand. For a tier-2 team this can be a yearly salary budget”

According to him the biggest profit goes specifically to teams from the third capsule, meaning the Legends, the rosters that reach the final stages of the championship. He claims their earnings from stickers can reach almost half a million dollars.

L3rich emphasized that sometimes a tier-2 team can earn its entire yearly budget just from capsule sales, which is extremely profitable. Nevertheless the highest profits still go to tier-1 teams, because sales of their bundles are the biggest.
