Aurora said that there is indeed a language and cultural barrier within the team outside of the game, and the new coach needs to remedy the situation.
This was reported by the team's new coach, Damien “kpii” Chok.
"The only person I've worked with before is Mikoto. And his English... I think it's pretty good. I think the main thing for me is to teach them to talk to each other outside of the game. Because I think there shouldn't be any problems inside the game: everyone knows the basic Dota words. Outside of the game, the main focus is on cultural differences. I think my role in this is important because I am a flexible person. I'll try to get everyone on the same page, talking to each other — without silence and stuff"
Kpii hinted that Raflai “Mikoto” Fatura's English isn't perfect, but he doesn't think the language barrier is a problem during games, because all esports players know the words they need for matches.
According to the coach, his main task will be to establish dialogue between the roster members outside of the game in order to unite the new
Aurora lineup. However, the team's results leave much to be desired: at FISSURE Universe Episode 7, they only took 6th-7th place and failed to qualify for BLAST Slam 5.
As a reminder, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk changed his appearance again before the start of the new Dota 2 season.
