ATF took credit for all of Team Falcons' victories, making a controversial statement about his teammates

Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, the offlaner for Team Falcons, claimed that he is the most valuable player on the team and that without him, they would not have achieved such success on the Dota 2 pro scene.

The esports player shared this in a post-match interview at DreamLeague Season 24.

"Obviously, I'm the most valuable player. It's an obvious answer. Where were my teammates before I joined them? Who's number two? Sneyking, because he gave me Bristleback"

ATF considers himself the most valuable player on the roster but named Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu, Team Falcons captain, as the second most valuable for his successful drafts in tournaments. The esports player also emphasized that his teammates wouldn’t have won tournaments without him.

However, this was likely said in jest, as most of his teammates are well-known players who have won major tournaments, including The International 2022.

To recap, Team Falcons managed to defeat BetBoom Team and became the champions of DreamLeague Season 24, marking their sixth major tournament victory in 2024.
