Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf admitted that he barely remembers his performance at The International 2025 Dota 2 tournament, which ended with a victory for
Team Falcons.
The player shared this admission on Twitch.
"No joke, my happiest moments are when I fail. The year I remember best is my time at Nigma. Why is that? I was getting absolutely crushed there, but it was actually fun.
Winning is better, but you don’t feel anything at all—you’re completely focused on the game. I even said that The International 2025 was completely uninteresting to me. I have no memories of that tournament. The only thing I remember is my victory. That’s it. My worst memory from TI is my victory. After all, I don’t remember anything else from there.”
According to Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf, losses leave a more tangible emotional mark on an esports player, which is why they are remembered much more vividly. The player admitted that he feels bored when his team wins, and that the most intense period of his career was with
Nigma Galaxy, which was marked by regular losses.
As a reminder, Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf is playing in the Dota 2 Premier Series tournament as a substitute for
Yellow Submarine.
