Ammar "ATF" al-Asaf admitted that he has no personal animosity towards Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek or the players of
BetBoom Team. However, he confessed that he typed his opponent due to toxic behavior.
ATF, the offlaner for
Team Falcons, shared this during a commentary with streamer Jan "Gorgc" Stefanovski. The corresponding video was published on the YouTube channel Ez Dotes.
"No, we don't have any beef. TORONTOTOKYO was toxic towards me a lot in the second game of DreamLeague Winner's Bracket final, so I started typing him. Today, on the final day, he said he would destroy me, and I just continued typing him whenever I could. We're kind of friends with them"
The esports player mentioned that although he typed his opponent quite often, it was not out of animosity but rather a response to toxicity. Moreover, he stated that they are friends, and he holds no grudges against the
BetBoom Team player.
Recall that TORONTOTOKYO used offensive language towards ATF in the lobby before the match against
Team Falcons. In response, the
BetBoom Team support claimed that it was said in jest.
Nevertheless, earlier, Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, the midlaner of
Team Falcons, stated that there was a scandal and even accused TORONTOTOKYO of unsportsmanlike behavior due to the pro player's harsh remarks towards his teammate.
