TORONTOTOKYO and ATF DreamLeague Season 22

Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek, playing for BetBoom Team, stated that he did not intend to offend Ammar "ATF" al-Assaf from Team Falcons with his remarks. He claimed it was a friendly banter during the tournament.

The esports athlete wrote about it in his Telegram channel.

"I'm just joking with my brother before the game. Silly people find negativity in this"

Presumably, this was a response to accusations from Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak. He mentioned that TORONTOTOKYO wrote harsh insults to his teammate before the match, accusing him of unsportsmanlike behavior. Moreover, ATF even wanted to report the pro-player, as the tournament organizers allegedly did not react to the situation.

TORONTOTOKYO about ATF and Malr1ne

Malr1ne stated that he might bring this situation to public discussion to ensure that the esports athlete does not avoid punishment for such behavior at DreamLeague Season 22. TORONTOTOKYO explained his actions as a usual banter, so it remains unclear if there will be any punitive measures against him.
