Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf stated that Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk is currently in top form, which is why he can be considered the strongest player on the Dota 2 pro scene.
The player shared this opinion on Twitch.
“To be honest, I didn’t really respect Yatoro on the lane before. After practicing against him and everything else, my opinion has changed significantly. We’ll see how it all plays out. This tournament will be the first serious test for Team Yandex’s new roster. The two strongest opponents here are PARIVISION and Spirit.
Yatoro has just been a weak laner his whole life, to be honest. When I saw him, I knew it would be an easy lane. The last two times he… I don’t know, the situation has changed. It was strange to watch. I’d say Yatoro is in the best form I’ve ever seen him in. He’s probably the strongest player right now.”
Acording to a statement by Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf, the esports player previously didn’t view Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk as a particularly dangerous opponent, but his opinion changed after training against
Team Spirit. The player acknowledged that Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk is currently in top form, and the matches against
PARIVISION and
Team Spirit at the BLAST SLAM VIII tournament will be a serious test for
Team Yandex’s revamped roster.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf might have joined
Team Liquid, but he flatly turned down the organization, choosing
Team Yandex instead.
