Vitaliy “Arthas” Tsal, better known as Papich, played CS2 and was not satisfied with the technical state of the game, the balance decisions by the developers, as well as with his teammates.
He shared his opinion during a live stream.
“There are a lot of downsides in CS. I don’t know how people tolerate it. Right now the tickrate is lowered and feels scuffed. Shooting in Counter-Strike and the server tickrate — it’s very strange. Then the weapon balance is just whatever, some kind of meme. They have a machine gun in the game for 20 years that costs $5200, which is on the level of an SMG for $1400”
Papich said that players are forced to deal with many issues in the game. According to him, CS2 has terrible ping and server connection. He also criticized Valve’s balance decisions, saying that some weapons simply have no point, and in his opinion comparison of some stats of certain rifles are just ridiculous.
He also blamed his teammates for his failed matches, saying that ruiners are playing on his team. He once again mentioned that he sometimes doesn’t even understand if he made a frag, because the character bodies fall only after a few seconds.
