Arteezy Shares His Thoughts on the New MMR System in Dota 2

Artur “Arteezy” Babaev stated that after the update to the ranking system in Dota 2, he has been matched with more worthy opponents in matchmaking.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“My MMR was reset, so now I can play against strong players again. I no longer have to put up with noobs every day. It feels so good. You’ve got two supports, a real offlaner, a real midlaner. I feel like crying because I can play Dota with normal people again! Valve, I love you! Thanks for resetting the MMR. I was so tired of all that!”

Acording to a statement by Artur “Arteezy” Babaev, the quality of games in Dota 2’s matchmaking has improved significantly, as the skill level of players in ranked matches has risen considerably, and now every player on the teams is fulfilling the roles expected of their position. The esports player is grateful to the developers at Valve for updating the MMR system, as he has started to enjoy the game again.

As a reminder, Arthur “Arteezy” Babaev previously admitted that he had considered ending his career as a pro gamer as far back as ten years ago.
