Artur “Arteezy” Babaev, the renowned esports professional of Dota 2, openly stated that he made it on the pro scene due to the assistance from players Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao, Gustav “s4” Magnusson, and a few others.
He reported that on his Twitch stream.
“Many people helped me become better player when I was trying to get into tier 2 in North America, like EternaLEnVy, s4, pieliedie, singsing, bOne7, and many others. I started hanging out with very talented and smart people. They taught me to see things differently, to question me and my beliefs. Surrounding yourself with such people makes your success a guarantee. But then again, if you spend your time with beasts, you’ll be living in a zoo”
Arteezy further elaborated how thankful he is towards his former teammates and friends who contributed to him getting better at Dota 2, stating that the way pros were around him gave him a higher chance of developing towards being a professional and getting to the top of esports.
Previously, Arteezy mentioned that he thinks Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev should attempt rebuilding
Evil Geniuses.
