Arthur "Arteezy" Babaev, the carry player for Shopify Rebellion, stated that matchmaking in Dota 2 has become significantly worse after Valve's wave of bans, which blocked smurf accounts even for well-known esports players.
This opinion was shared by the pro player on his Twitter page.
"Dota matchmaking is even worse now than it was before the smurf ban, lol."
Arteezy's statement sounds quite strange, considering that he played 158 matches in just 8 days, averaging about 20 matches per day, which is currently the highest among esports players. Moreover, he even managed to win almost half of all matches. Therefore, it's not entirely clear what exactly the pro player considers a problem.

It's worth noting that he had previously complained about not being able to play on NA servers due to the high MMR on his main account.
