Arthur 'Arteezy' Babaev, the carry for Shopify Rebellion, is facing a significant problem after the wave of smurf bans – due to his high MMR, he literally can't play on NA servers.

The esports athlete shared this during a stream.

"I was happy about the wave of bans in Dota 2, including for the use of third-party programs like Overplus. But it's still sad that I literally can't play on North American servers"

Notably, Arteezy is not the first player to complain about such an issue. Players from Gaimin Gladiators, Melchior 'Seleri' Hillenkamp and Markus 'Ace' Hoelgaard, spent over an hour searching for a Dota 2 game but couldn't find opponents after smurf accounts were banned.

Many esports athletes have admitted to using additional accounts just to have the chance to play matchmaking since on their main accounts, finding a game could take over 30 minutes.
