Wang "Ame" Chunyu and his team,
Xtreme Gaming, became the champions of Games of the Future 2024, defeating
LGD Gaming with a score of 2:0.
Interestingly, this marked Ame's first tournament victory after his return to the Dota 2 pro scene. However, the team had no time to properly celebrate the victory due to a very tight schedule. Almost immediately after the match, the team had to hit the road again to make it to the start of DreamLeague Season 22.
Xtreme Gaming secured a prize of 350 thousand dollars at Games of the Future 2024, and now Ame's team will compete for the million-dollar prize pool against other participants in DreamLeague Season 22, with the opportunity to earn significant points in the EPT. This will help the lineup have a chance to ultimately receive a direct invite to the Esport World Cup, where one of the largest Dota 2 tournaments will take place.
