The Chinese magazine, The Beijing News, crowned Vana "Ame" Chunyua as the best esports player of 2023 who returned to the Dota 2 pro scene.
This announcement was posted on the Twitter account of CN Dota In A Nutshell, which adapts Chinese Dota 2 community news for an English-speaking audience.
“Ame has won The Beijing News Returned Esports Player of the Year award.”

Ame played for PSG.LGD until the end of 2022, officially announcing a break in his career. In December 2023, the esports player made a comeback to the Dota 2 pro scene as part of
Xtreme Gaming.
