Xtreme Gaming captain, Wang "Ame" Chunyu, made harsh insults towards Sun "Sccc" Chunyu and his family during a live stream.
The discussion about this incident sparked on Reddit, where details of the conflict were revealed.
According to a user who opened the topic, the conflict between the players started during matchmaking but escalated during the live stream after the match ended. Allegedly, Ame insulted Sccc by mentioning his mother, fans, stuttering, and even military service.
"Sccc plays worse than me even in mid. I have already defeated him and his mother"
Additionally, Chunyu tried to drive Sccc's fans away from his stream, calling them "little service dogs." He said this while imitating Chunya's speech impediment. The author of the post noted that Sccc was very upset when he learned that Ame was talking about him during the stream.
"I won't tolerate insults towards my family and fans from a professional player during a stream. We don't even know each other, and I have never said anything bad about him on streams - in fact, I praised his commentary on matches. I don't understand how this could happen; it really upset me. I'm so angry that I can't play Dota 2. Why insult my mother? All conflicts in the game should be resolved there, don't dare to insult me during a stream"
Fans in the comments condemned such behavior, especially considering that the players don't even know each other. Many couldn't believe that Ame was capable of such actions. It's possible that the cause of the conflict was recent matches in Dota 2, as the players have been playing together in matchmaking recently, sometimes on the same team and sometimes on opposing teams.
Recall that earlier Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, the carry for
Team Spirit, strongly reacted to his team's elimination from DreamLeague Season 22, losing to
Xtreme Gaming. The esports player hinted that he wants to get back at Wang "Ame" Chunyu.
