Ame disappointed fans and may end his pro gaming career

Wang "Ame" Chunyu was just one step away from the coveted title of Dota 2 world champion, but Xtreme Gaming fell short against Team Falcons, and this tournament may turn out to be his last.

The grand final ended with a 3:2 score in favor of Team Falcons, despite many expecting Ame to finally lift the Aegis. However, in the decisive game Ame fell off along with the rest of his team, as their opponents completely dominated the map.

Even before the tournament ended, there were rumors that Ame might retire after The International 2025. Insiders claimed that the player would make this decision regardless of whether he won or lost the championship.

Still, Ame himself has not yet made any official statements on the matter.
