Ahilles hinted that BetBoom Team replaced Kataomi with TORONTOTOKYO not because of the visa issue

Timur “Ahilles” Kulmukhambetov, the coach for 1win Team, claimed that Vladislav “Kataomi” Semenov owns Schengen Visa and there would have been no problems for him to access Denmark even without a biometric passport. This means that BetBoom Team might have decided to replace him by Alexander “Torontotokyo” Hertek for another reason other than the documents.

He posted that on his Telegram channel.

“I don’t really understand the problem with Kataomi. He has an old style passport which doesn’t work specifically with Denmark. In fact, he can enter any Schengen country except Denmark. From there, he can easily fly to Denmark.

Once you’re already inside Europe, they don’t check your passport and visa, only the ticket. The important thing is to fly out of Denmark to another European country within the Schengen zone. Or maybe I’m missing some details here”

He noted that it was highly likely for Kataomi to get into Denmark from some other European country. That’s why he considers it strange that the adjustment was due to that reason. At the same time, he made a caution that there could be some more underlying rationale since the players do have the visa.
