Alaksandr ‘TORONTOTOKYO’ Khertek is temporarily back in the main roster of
BetBoom Team after everything that happened even though Vladislav “Kataomi” Semenov has a Schengen visa. But since Kataomi has a different issue concerning his passport, TORONTOKYO will be representing the team for BLAST Slam #2.
The information was shared through Lukas “Lukawa’ Nasuashvili in his
BetBoom Team channels over Telegram.
"Kataomi, like everyone else in the team, has been issued a new one year Schengen visa. But because it s in a non biometric passport – namely a ten year old passport that was what was used when applying with the a non biometric visa – it cannot be used to travel to Denmark. He did have the option to apply for a new visa but that would invalidate the existing one year visa and that is a rare situation indeed. So for this one tournament, it would be more optimal to just use a stand-in. This is, hopefully, the last European tournament in 2025 where we have to play with a stand-in, and my thanks to TORONTOTOKYO for accepting to come on board”
Lukawa states that the one year visa was too expensive a risk to take just for one tournament and that is why TORONTOTOKYO has been brought back.
It is his first tournament since the International 2024 and this time, TORONTOTOKTOKYO will take on position five. Given the circumstances with Danil ‘gpk~’ Skutin, if the team shows the right results, TORONTOTOKYO might be integrated to the roster permanently."
The BetBoom Team roster has been updated as follows:
Ivan Moskalenko “Pure”
Danil Skutin “gpk~”
Matvey Vasyunin “MieRo”
Vitaliy Melnik “Save-”
Aleksandar Khertek “TORONTOTOKYO”
As per recently leaked information, Yandex may sign both Nightfall and TORONTOTOKYO.
