Afoninje explained why he left the professional Dota 2 scene

Andrey «Afoninje» Afonin said that he left the pro Dota 2 scene not only because he was tired of the game, but also because he got fed up with bootcamps and talking to some teammates.

The former esports player talked about this during a Twitch stream, answering questions from fans.

«Why did I leave? Because I ***** played Dota already, ***** just. Not even ****** to play Dota anymore, just sitting in bootcamps, talking with people who have zero social skills. Basically, just tired, burned out, what is it called again?»

Afoninje noted that he played Dota 2 for a long time and needed a break. He also admitted that this wasn’t even the main reason, but the fatigue from bootcamps and teammates. The player didn’t name names, but emphasized that he didn’t enjoy communicating with some people.

In the end, he concluded that he was just burned out and tired, so he decided to end his pro Dota 2 career.
