Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard said that Quinn “Quinn” Callahan is unlikely to return to the Dota 2 pro scene, since he enjoys his new occupation, but there’s still a small chance for it to happen.
The
Team Liquid offlaner shared this during an interview with eScoreNews.
“I don’t think people should expect his comeback. He was always very open with the team, and wouldn’t just leave for no reason. We all knew he wanted to quit for a while. So that was kind of his final ride. And it looks like he’s doing really well now — he’s actually enjoying it”
He explained that Quinn had been planning his departure for a long time, so it’s quite unlikely he’ll return to pro Dota 2. Ace mentioned that the midlaner likes what he’s doing now, and truly gets pleasure from it. Still, he noted that sometimes esports players start missing competition, which might push them to come back.
“But who knows, right. Many people start missing Dota after they leave, so maybe he’ll return someday. He’s still pretty young. So he could definitely come back if he wanted. But maybe not, since what he’s doing now really fits him”
Even so, Ace doubts that Quinn will return, as streaming and analytics seem to suit the former midlaner perfectly, and he’s clearly enjoying his new path.

Team Secret tag.
