Gaimin Gladiators captain Markus "Ace" Helgaard shared his top picks for the best offlane heroes in the current patch and explained in detail why these heroes can help you quickly climb the Dota 2 ranks.
Bristleback
Ace noted that both aspects of the hero are playable, but he prefers the green one — "Snot Rocket."
Bristleback can soak up a huge amount of damage and grows stronger as the game progresses. He not only tanks well but can also kill enemies, making him a real threat and almost a broken mechanic.
Omniknight
Both Omniknight aspects look good, but Ace recommends choosing "Omnipresent." The hero is very durable and scales well into the late game. With the Radiance,
Omniknight becomes almost like a carry while still supporting the team.
Dark Seer
Despite recent nerfs,
Dark Seer remains a strong farming hero who can recover even after a rough laning stage. Buying aura items makes him very useful in team fights. Ace suggests favoring the "Heart of Battle" aspect due to the extra movement speed, which helps him cover teammates instead of himself during fights.
Enigma
Enigma is a great pick for ranked matches, especially in the later stages of the draft, as he has some problematic counters, like
Gyrocopter. Despite the recent nerf to the "Splitting Image" aspect, both aspects are still viable. The hero is known for fast farming and powerful teamfights.
Beastmaster
Ace advises not to pick
Beastmaster too early in the draft. Instead of going for the Aghanim’s build with the "Beast Mode" aspect, it's better to choose "Wild Hunt" and play aggressively with the Dominator. If
Beastmaster isn’t countered, he can single-handedly push down towers and help his team snowball. However, falling behind in gold on this hero is dangerous as making a comeback is quite difficult.
Earlier, there was information that
Team Spirit is planning a roster change.
