Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov believes that PGL Wallachia Season 5 may be the penultimate tournament for the current
Virtus.pro Dota 2 roster, as he expects the team to disband after Riyadh Masters 2025 due to poor results.
The well-known streamer and former pro player made this statement on Twitch.
"This may be the penultimate time we see this lineup. They still have to qualify for Riyadh. I don't know how they qualified, to be honest. When they did, I was happy and thought it was a cool lineup. But it looks like the roster is going to lose everywhere now. And we won't see them anywhere because
Virtus.pro will say to them, ‘Why do we need you? The season is over, you lost everywhere you could.’"
According to Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov, the team shows a very low level of preparation, even though each of the players individually has good individual gameplay. Nevertheless, in official matches, some of the players do not perform at all, and the efforts of the others do not produce the desired results. The streamer believes that this situation has arisen because the members of
Virtus.pro find it difficult to play together, which prevents them from reaching their full potential within the organization's roster.
"Let's give this lineup some respect, because they are all esports players. But this is terrible. Sometimes I even want to rewatch the Riyadh qualifiers because I don't understand how it's possible to play like that. All I've seen in this lineup is Rein just supporting, V-Tune trying something, Lorenof only able to carry on signature plays, no Dahaka, no Antares. So far, that's all I've seen.
There can be different reasons for such games. But most likely, it means that they simply cannot play together. We saw what V-Tune did in his prime. V-Tune in his prime is cool, Antares in his prime is excellent, Daxak in his prime is simply an incredible robot, Lorenof also did wonders in prime. Rein... I don't know anything about him. But the lineup just can't play together."
Let's recall that earlier Alexey “Solo” Berezin spoke about the problems of the
Virtus.pro Dota 2 lineup, stating that the team's drafts were unsuccessful.
