The tournament operator ESL has already sent invitations to the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024, but they are raising questions.
Aldar "Jamba" Jambinov, the manager of
9 Pandas, made this statement in a post on his Telegram channel.
"ESL has handed out invites to the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague 22 and Birmingham. While there are no questions about four of the invites, I have some questions about the fifth invite. But we are waiting for an official announcement"
This could be a hint at ESL manipulating the rules, as Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov commented on the situation with
Azure Ray earlier. However, later, Jamba posted again, suggesting that he has received explanations and has come to terms with the operator's position.
It's worth noting that the
9 Pandas roster has raised many questions among fans, especially with the community being stirred up by the appearance of a player suspected of being involved in match-fixing.
