The captain of 9Pandas announced that he is leaving team and retiring from the pro scene

Denis “Seized” Kostin, the captain of 9 Pandas CS 2 squad, has revealed himself as stepping down from the team and taking a break from professional gaming for some time. On the other hand, he has shown his readiness to come back in future as a coach.

He said this on his Telegram channel.

“So, finally it's been clarified: I'm moving to the bench at 9 Pandas. When I received this news, it was a very unexpected and difficult one to swallow because this organization is like my second family and the players are my brothers”

So according to his words club decided upon that which came as shock to him. In any case, he also mentioned being tired and said that he needed rest that’s why he made such decision. He added that he is open not only for offers of a captain or player but also for coaching positions.

“To be honest with you, I’m completely empty inside, both physically and mentally. So, I’m going on hiatus for two months so as to catch up on rest a little bit, calm down alone after all these years of bloodshedding in virtual reality (and find out what actually i want)”

Moreover, he noted that considering non-competitive CS2 jobs might be an option due to his age.
