Edgar “9Class” Naltakian stated that his favorite heroes,
Terrorblade and
Slark, were not weakened in the new 7.39 patch for Dota 2. The player also highlighted
Dark Willow,
Shadow Shaman and
Chaos Knight, but noted the weakening of
Tinker.
The player shared his respective opinion on Twitch.
"My heroes are fine.
Terrorblade,
Slark - they didn't get cut. New
Dark Willow,
Shadow Shaman. They cut my
Tinker a bit, but boosted
Chaos Knight. Maybe I'll play it one day."
According to Edgar “9Class” Naltakian, the developers have weakened the fifth ranked heroes in the new update, which has only strengthened the characters for the four-supports players. The player believes that in the new meta you can regenerate more, and also eliminates the need for a large number of consumables. Cybersport also believes that
Dark Willow entered the meta due to the weakening of
Jakiro, who was beating the hero on the line.
"They cut a lot of fifth position heroes, making all the fourth position heroes stronger. Now you can regenerate more, and you don't need a lot of consumables. You can buy something permanent. I think
Dark Willow's hero is good now. Gone is
Jakiro, who was destroying on the line, so now you can enjoy
Dark Willow."
To recap, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Tahasomi earlier revealed how the new patch for Dota 2 has affected the play of the
Nigma Galaxy lineup.
