Neta “33” Shapira said that he had to make a decision whether to form his roster with
Tundra Esports or continue playing with
Team Liquid. The player is of the opinion that both were good alternative.
The pro gamer shared his respective opinion on the Telegram channel of
Tundra Esports.
“I had the chance to create a roster under Tundra, I felt that I had a choice, like to take the leap and snatch the trophy’s or stay one more year at Liquid. It was nice, However.
Usually, during the offseason, you have to pick one among many unpleasant choices whichever you are given. I am one of those people who had to make a choice from two good organizations.”
The player admitted that he made his decision before The International 2024 so as not to be influenced by emotions after the tournament. The cyber athlete admits that after TI11 he couldn't even imagine leaving
Tundra Esports. However, this year's win at The International 2024 didn't affect him as much, despite the significance of the tournament.
“I admitted this was a hard call for me, I thought about it for a couple of weeks. I felt even before Inta that I had to choose one thing, because I didn’t want to.... TI is, as I said, already a very emotional tournament, and I did not want the emotions after the tournament to cloud my decision-making further.
There was no way I would have allowed myself to leave Tundra with those feelings after TI11 when we had just won it. I find it different these days. It was quite an integral tournament, but it did not cut my life in before and after.”
Neta “33” Shapira moved to
Team Liquid late last year, but the player returned to
Tundra Esports after winning TI13.
As a reminder, Edgar “9Class” Naltakian formerly expressed his feelings on leaving the
Tundra Esports roster.
