Ivan “4IVAN” Moshkovsky shared shocking details about the incident during the Winter Bear – Ilbirs match at EPL 34. According to the player, before the second map he started receiving mass threats demanding that he lose the match, on which, as it later became known, hundreds of thousands of dollars were placed.
He spoke about this in an interview with Ahilles.
During the game 4IVAN disconnected, after which, as he claims, unknown people came to the computer club where he was playing. The player was allegedly beaten, his phone was taken away, and he was forced to record a video confession about a fixed match. He also stated that access to his Steam account was given to another player, who entered the game instead of him, because of which his hero later stood AFK until the end of the map.
The esports athlete stressed that he had previously been offered money to throw maps, but he always refused. After the incident he was hospitalized, and later filed a report to the police. The investigation is still ongoing however, and according to 4IVAN the threats against him have not stopped.
He insists on his innocence, says that he has proofs and evidences, and asks to give the situation maximum publicity, as he fears for his safety.
