Daniil “Zeus” Teslenko believes that
Team Spirit's performance at the ESL Pro League 23 Counter-Strike 2 tournament could lead to the return of Leonid ‘Chopper’ Vishnyakov to the team, as the team has been playing worse with Boris “magixx” Vorobyev.
The player shared his opinion on Telegram.
“The Spirit owners aren't stupid guys, because they've won several Intels and a CS Major. Chopper is alive and well; he hasn't gone anywhere. Everyone just wrote him off because they're convinced that Spirit with Magixx will perform well.”
According to a statement by Daniil “Zeus” Teslenko, the prospect of Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov returning to the team wasn’t seriously considered for a long time, as
Team Spirit was counting on improved results with Boris “magixx” Vorobyov. Nevertheless, the player noted that the new player is clearly struggling with the game and feeling pressure from his teammates, while Danil “donk” Kryshkovets is unable to motivate the team from his position as captain.
“Magixx is sitting there, the guys are pressuring him, he’s in shock. Donk is sitting there with three kills, no one is calling him out. He’s already scared. When the captain is scared, the team also feels that the captain is scared. And if he doesn’t know what to do, how can the team know what to do?”
As a reminder, Duncan “Thorin” Shields previously explained why
Team Spirit’s results often fail to meet fans’ expectations.
