Bakyt «Zayac» Emilzhanov - the support from HellRaisers team in Dota 2, told in an interview about the problems that he faced with Just Error, how joined HR team, and assessed his progress on the esports scene.
About problems in Just Error
It's no secret that SumaiL said after TI that he wants to play with VP. At that time, RAMZES666 joined EG, and nothing happened.
The language barrier is very strong... For me personally, it is difficult to do it online right away... For these some points, just needed some words. In any case, this delay, when you want to say something in English, and you have to waste half a second to translate in your head. And sometimes you think, and that's all - the moment is gone.
Because of this, there were difficulties. He did not particularly participate in the discussions; RAMZES666 talked to him separately. Well, I thought it was easier at bootcamp in live. But it didn't work out.
How joined HellRaisers
I flew to Kiev thinking that I have two more weeks. But Valve didn't say anything, and in the end it turned out that I had only five days, and then - a roster lock. We met with Resolut1on out of old friendship, went to some restaurant, talked about who thinks what. At some points, we found something. It was not clear there who would be the 4-pos, who would be 5-pos, so the consent of all players was needed, and I had to wait. Then 9pasha wrote to me, I played screams with Prosti Esli, I thought it was cool that I had a plan B.
At the beginning it was a little difficult, we getting used to each other. I would not say that Ilya is an open person. Well, that's what it is. We rub against each other. Now it is much easier to communicate, in terms of just understanding. Everyone works, communicates. Now such a candy-bouquet period: everyone is ready to work, information is accepted, the initiative is not punishable. I would like to continue this vibe as much as possible.
Progress in the esports scene
I had a good year with good experience. Personally, I am greatly respected in the country, many fans come to Bishkek, and there is a feeling that I am a successful esports player. For them, yes, because I am a guy from Kyrgyzstan. But then I realize that if you take the world stage, then I am nobody. I haven't achieved anything yet. At TI, I was in the top 16, and in Dota, everyone is judged by TI. I could not prove the steep stability.
