Yatoro spoke for the first time about the new Dota 2 patch

Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, at the time, Team Spirit carry, expressed his thoughts about global patches 7.38 and 7.38b for the first time, noting that he appreciates the extra water on the map while also stating that Valve should have made such changes a long time ago.

He shared his thoughts during an interview at PGL Wallachia Season 3.

“The Dota map needed changes. The map had been the same for over two years. So, I like the water and the other changes. You play on the river, like in ‘The Hobbit’. I hope we will see many new games and play styles at PGL Wallachia 3”

Yatoro has stated that he intends to assert maps and particular changes made to the Dota 2 game during the global update, along with the changes made in patch 7.38b. These changes, in his opinion, would easen the evolution of the meta of the game. He even ventured to guess that many unusual builds would be presented at the tournament.
